League of Villainous Villainy

CHANNEL AWESOME SUPER LEAGUE OF VILLAINOUS VILLAINY!

It's interesting to note that, for a group of internet reviewers, the crew at TGWTG seem to amass quite a few enemies. Mad scientists, the undead, film directors, all manner of scum and villainy seems hell bent on destroying these "humble" critics. So, what would happen if these devious beings joined forces, creating their own "Legion of Doom," so to speak? Could any force on Earth halt the terrible reign of the Super League of Villainous Villainy?

DR. INSANO: Of course (no pun intended), he had to be the team leader. This was a no brainer. Quite pleased with how his sketch turned out.

MECHAKARA: Another easy choice. I took a few liberties with his design here, giving him more of the "Terminator" split-face. He would act as the group's technology supplier and computer interface.

MICHAEL BAY: The idea of putting him on the team made me laugh. The whole "arms at the side" pose took a while to get right. Not surprisingly, he is in charge of explosives.

DOUCHEY McNITPICK: I loved the idea of having Douchey be on this team, acting like the "Grima Wormtongue" to Insano's "Saruman." His awkward pointing was one of my few attempts at foreshortening, but I'm pleased with how that turned out. Thanks to my friend Steve for help with that.

SUMO NINJA: This one might be stretching a little, but I think he fits. Sean's Sumo Ninja character did try to beat up Angry Joe once, so he could act as Insano's stealth and muscle. I know he doesn't use a staff, but I already had him drawn with his back showing and it needed something more.

FEARDOTCOM DENA: I wanted to put a female villain on the team, but I really couldn't find any. In Phelous' review of "Fear Dot Com," Dena plays an evil computer spirit that kills. I figured she would fit, acting as the group's connection to the supernatural. I was really pleased at how the likeness came out for her, though I wish I could have made her look more "evil."

HONORARY MEMBERS OF SLOVV (WHO DIDN'T MAKE IT INTO THE DRAWING)

ASK THAT GUY: I can see him as Dr. Insano's second-in-command/rival, constantly plotting to stab him in the back while still keeping that soulless grin on his face.

MELVIN: Insano pays Melvin to come to the Insanodrome every week and clean the toilets.

SPIDER DR. SMITH: Another potential Insano backstabber. His area of expertise? SPIDERS!

THE NURSE: Insano's rarely seen assistant.

THE ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD: A mole. Despite being the Critic's rival, the Nerd is really a good guy who has infiltrated the team.

I had a lot of fun on this drawing and I may try to clean it up sometime and add color.
